This years trip followed the Santiam Wagon Trail of the Oregon Trail. Starting on the west side of the central Oregon Cascades, the group hiked over Tombstone Pass, past the Fish Lake Wagon Toll Gates, Over the Sand Hill into Cache Creek. From Cache Creek the group made it's way to Graham Corral for a 2 day layover stop, then on to Indian Ford Springs and finally ended up at our base camp 1 mile out of Camp Sherman, thus crossing over the Cascade Mountain Range.
